EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN BOGORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CALLS FOR CONCERTED EFFORTS TO END DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PWDS.

The Executive Chairman Bogoro Local Government council Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi, has urged the people of Bogoro local government area to support his Administration’s efforts aimed bringing to an end Discrimination against people with Disability.
Surveyor Yakubu Lawi, stated this when he received the leadership of people with disabilities matters Bogoro LGA Branch on a congratulatory visit in his office.
The council Boss declared that his administration will work hand in hand with the association to provide quality service to humanity especially at this present situation when the world is facing divers challenges their contribution will go along in achieving desired goals.
According to him people with disability are creative and their potentials are enormous, whereby if given the opportunity, pointing out that providing an enabling environment that recognized their talents and contributions.
Surveyor Yakubu, further stated that PWDs Excel in their fields of endeavour despite their challenges and commended the association forforming themselves into groups, and assured them that his administration will look into all the issues related to them for prompt action.
Speaking on behalf of the Association’s Desk Officer for People with Disability matters Bogoro local government area Mrs. Mbam Dakuna,who commended the chairman for giving them the audience, promise their loyalty and support towards the success of his administration.
Mrs. Mbam Dakuna, also appealed for the provision of entrepreneurial opportunities and employment to the members of the association to enable them contribute thier quota towards nation building.
