UTRGV Scholarships
You may be eligible for a four-year renewable scholarship if you are an incoming freshman with very high ACT scores, have received an International Baccalaureate Diploma, have earned college credit through Advanced Placement (AP) exams and/or the Concurrent Enrollment (CE) program, and/or are ranked in the top 10% of your graduating class.
UTRGV Scholarships
You might be eligible for the UTRGV Distinguished Scholar award for out-of-area students, worth up to $40,000, the UTRGV Presidential Scholars award, worth up to $32,000, or the UTRGV Meritorious Scholar award, worth up to $20,000.
How to Apply
The UTRGV Scholars Scholarships do not require the submission of a scholarship application; instead, they are given on a competitive basis. Students must be admitted to UTRGV before December 1st to be considered. Because there are only a few spots available, you are strongly encouraged to apply for the scholarship as soon as possible by doing the following:
