NACOMYO inaugurates new Bauchi officials.

The National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO) has inaugurated its new Executives that will run the affairs of the organisation in the next three years.

At the inauguration ceremony held at the conference Hall of Jama’atu Nasril Islam Bauchi, the immediate past state coordinator Professor Abubakar Sadiq Abdullahi of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, thanked Allah for given him the wisdom to serve Islam in that capacity and prayed Allah to guide the new officials.

Professor Abubakar Abdullahi thanked members of the organisation for the cooperation and opportunity given to him to serve them for the last three years and urged them to extend same to the new officials for optimum service delivery.

In a remark, the chairman, Shura Committee that conducted the selection of the new officials Malam Sani Baban Mutum called on members of the association to remain united for the development of the group and Islam at large.

Earlier, the guest speaker at the inauguration, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Hameed of North East University Gombe who presented a lecture on the importance of leadership in an organization, stressed the need for leaders to carry out what is entrusted on them as enshrined in the glorious Qur’an.

Dr. Adamu Hameed urged leaders to display good leadership to their followers and be honest and discharge their activities in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

In his acceptance speech, the new Coordinator Malam Murtala Muhammad Alamai, thanked members of the group for the confidence reposed in him and promised to strive hard to deliver on his mandate of putting the image of the association at the forefront as well as effective propagation of Islam.

The organisation has Malam Murtala Muhammad Alamai as State Coordinator, Dr. Inuwa Abdu Ibrahim Secretary, Bello Gwagwalada as PRO and Comrade Ibrahim Malam Goje as Editor.

Other officials of the group include Uztaz Ahmed Muhammad Pantami as Deputy Coordinator, Nasiru Adamu Aliyu as Assistant Secretary, Hussaini Yaro as Treasurer and Fa’iz Ibrahim as Financial Secretary as well as Barrister Kabiru Sani Jaja Legal Adviser.
