Health Workers in Bauchi State have been requested to be dedicated to their duties towards reforming and uplifting the standard of health care service delivery across the state.
The Committee Chairman on health and human resources of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Lawal Dauda made the request during a working visit to some primary Health Care centers in Bauchi.
Lawal Dauda also enjoyed the workers to stick to the ethics of their profession as well as ensuring discipline for the development of the health sector across the state.
The Committee Chairman noted that the aim of their working visit was to know the level of hospital’s infrastructures, staff straighten and other basic necessities with the purpose of providing a lasting solutions to the problems and challenges of health care service in Bauchi State.
The lawmaker assured that the committee would make recommendations and reports that will favour some hospitals for optimum productivity.
The Primary Health care centers so far visited by the committee include Alangawari and Misau Town primary health care centers and Hardawa in Misau, Kari and Sade primary health care centers in Darazo, Urban Maternity Azare and Primary Health care center Bulkachuwa in Katagum local govt as well as Gamaw and Udubu primary health care centers.
