Defunct BACAS Alumni held its first Reunion Convention for sustainable unity

Togetherness has been described as a right channel towards transforming the sustainable unity, peace and progress in the society.

The Katunkan Kaltungo Alh.Yusuf Daudu made this knowned during the first reunion of old students of defunct Bauchi college of Arts and science popularly known as BACAS convention, held at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.

Alh. Yasuf Kaltungo who is also a chairman of organising committee said the essence of the forum is to reunite the members of alumni who were left the school nearly five decades without meeting again.

He also expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah for witnesses the first reunion of the first of their kind after departing the school in the early eighties.

Alh.Yusuf also added that, as part of people who benefited from government Free education scheme they were also working on how to pay back this gesture to the younger ones in both education and capacity building.

Also speaking Madam Fibi Carolyn Akasi described the move as a welcome development and expressed her delights for being part of the convention, decried over the non proper representative of women in the forum and appealed to the organisers to look into it in the next convention.

Some of the participants interviewed expressed their happiness on the programme and prayed for those who died among them.
