Charity organization in Toro LG trains orphans on skills acquire programme .

An orphanage and charity organization in Toro local government “Asusun Tallafawa Marayun Toro da kewaye cooperative limited “has graduated six out of twenty five orphans trained on various skills acquisition and provide them with working materials to start up their business.

The organization also sponsored the training of another set of fourteen orphans on various skills acquisition and distribute a set of eighty schools uniforms to orphans pupils across ten public and private schools in Toro local government.

Addressing the participants in a mini gathering to mark the event, the chairman of the committee Alkali Salihu Umar said the committee has embark on the gesture to support the orphans in the area and help them become self reliant and useful members of the society.

Salihu Umar said the organization is graduating six orphans out of twenty five sponsored by the committee in various skills in the last two years which he described as a land mark achievement in the history of the committee.

According to him, another set of fourteen orphans were also enrolled in the training of computer, carpentry, welding, design and tailoring.

He urged the beneficiaries to remain focus toward reciprocating the gesture by living up to expectation.

In their remarks, the Katuka of Bauchi Alhaji Umar Adamu and the District head of Toro, Inuwa Ahmed Ardon commended the orphanage organization for embarking on the charitable services to orphans in the area promising their total support to the committee at all times.
