Bauchi State Qur’anic recitation committee advocates for regular hosting of the competition.

The Chairman Bauchi State Qur’anic Recitation Competition Committee Imam Hassan Zango has advocated for regular organizing of the Qur’anic competition for optimum performance.


Imam Hassan Zango who made the call during the closing ceremony of the second Qur’anic Recitation Competition of Nana Asmau Bnt Fodio Education Foundation said the move would enable the younger ones be more conversant and committed to the Glorious Qur’an.

He called on youth to put extra efforts in the memorization and Recitation of the Glorious Quran.


Earlier, the State Coordinator of the Competition, Alaramma Auwal Abubakar Goni said the foundation was established to inculcate Islamic orientation in the minds of Muslim Girls through guidance and counselling.

Alaramma Auwal Goni explained that the competition comprises of five categories and the overall winner will represent the state at the national level scheduled to hold in Kaduna State.

In a remark, the National Coordinator Malam Nasiru Abdullahi Gidadawa explained that preparations have reached advanced stage for the competition in Kaduna and pledged to provide adequate welfare to all the contingents and officials from all participating states.

In an interview, the overall winner in sixty hizib Fatima Yahaya expressed delight for emerging overall winner and prayed Allah to guide them to become victorious in the forthcoming national competition.
