Bauchi State Governor warns bandits and other criminals to surrender to security agencies

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has warned bandits and other criminals to surrender to security agencies before it is too late.

The move is part of efforts to secure lives and property of citizens of the state.

The governor who acknowledged the continued synergy and planning within security agencies in the state, said there is no safe haven for any criminal element within the geographical enclave of Bauchi State.

He stated this when he hosted heads of security agencies in his office at Government House, Bauchi and assured all security apparatus in the state that he will continue to provide them with the necessary support required to secure lives and property of citizens.

Governor Bala commended the cordiality prevailing among different sister security outfits in the state, saying it is a required attribute to defeat insecurity.

According to him, security remains his most priority, adding that he will not let any stone unturned in his commitment of securing the Bauchi for the people of the state to enjoy social, economic and political growth.

Governor Bala Mohammed said already, the relative peace Bauchi is enjoying is courtesy of the sustained strategic efforts of security agencies.

On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Auwal Mohammed who spoke on behalf of the Heads of the security agencies appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for his unwavering support to the security agencies working in the state and promised to reciprocate the gesture by being committed to their assigned responsibilities.
