Bauchi state government has reiterated it determination to uplift the state own college of health technology Ningi to International standard.
The state Commissioner of health Dr Adamu Umar Sambo, made this known at the matriculation ceremony of new admitted students of Bill and Melinda Gate College of Health Technology Ningi.
Dr Adamu Umar Sambo, explained that the current administration of Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has procured modern teaching and learning equipments to Dental, Science and Laboratory departments of the college.
He added that his ministry is doing everything possible to the provide more class rooms, hostels and theater hall for conducive learning environment.
According to him, arrangements are on top gear by the ministry to provide free service allowances to students studying in various public health institutions in the country.
He called on the matriculated students to abide by the norms, values and principles of the college for them to graduate with a shinning results.
Earlier, the Provost of the college Alhaji Garba Hussaini, said the college has admitted 1200 students in to differents departments for the 2024/2025 academic seasons.
Alhaji Garba Hussaini appreciated the gaint strides of governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad to the education sector.
He noted that all the successes recorded in the college were poised by huge allocation to health sector in which the college is involved.
Some of the students interviewed, Fadila Shuaibu and Abbas Ibrahim Usman, pledged their readiness to abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
